PATIENCE, THE HARDEST VIRTUE TO ENDURE.

Human has struggled with many vices, and virtues. Struggle with vices like kleptomaniac or addiction in general, likewise struggle with virtues like patience and self-control etc.

Dealing with addiction is difficult, but you know the hope and time frame to end it lies in your hands. Same with self-control. When it comes to patience to wait, there's more.

What you will struggle with most in life will be the patience for anything that worth waiting for. The urge to quit waiting will always set in. The temptation to precipitate or orchestrate an event will be on the higher side.

It is this difficult to wait because GOD doesn't show to anyone how many weeks or month or years we have to wait.

A man seeking employment for the past 7 years will be told to keep waiting and praying, while a woman without fruit of the womb for the past 10 years will be told to keep waiting and trusting in the LORD. Likewise, someone who needs a woman to be called wife or a man to be called the husband of her own.

What will be beautiful will always need time to bloom. Can we plant a crop and harvest it the next day? Even at that, we don't wait for harvest after planting a crop, we ensure it is always being cultivated for fruitful result.

Meanwhile, I wrote in one of my books, though yet to be published. I encouraged readers to form the habit of redefining their problems in life. In this sense, they can know if truly they have any issue or not.

How?

1. If you have a difficulty that people can solve, then you don't have a problem. It will only cost you pride to seek help. It will take you changing orientation from crazy idiosyncrasies by doing more than hours spent to pray.

Going to the mountain to get a job will offer you no job, for there's no job there. Going to the mountain to pray for fruit of the womb will offer you no child, for there's no child up there. GOD is a Spirit, and He's present everywhere except where you need time alone for yourself with GOD that won't cause distractions.

2. If you have a problem that only GOD can solve, then you truly have a problem. This is where the waiting is more tense and suspenseful. There are help you can seek but won't get from any human. GOD preserves certain miracles to prove why He alone is GOD.

Just as He preserves hailstorms for the day of war, so does He preserve certain days for exceptional miracles to destroy our unbelief.

You could have been told how to wait, but if the few points below are not part of what you've ever been told, then you haven't been told a thing.

1. While you wait, it is not about you, but GOD. He does certain things for the reasons best known to Him. We won't always comprehend, for He's more glorified through the pain we endure.

a. Sometimes to prove doubters wrong.

b. Sometimes to show those who really care about you.

c. Sometimes, to prove that GOD is not without the power to break the law that guides nature and universe. Mind you, GOD never set any law to restrict or guide Him, but to restrict and guide us.

Scientifically, menopause, also known as the climacteric, is the time in most women's lives when menstrual periods stop permanently, and they are no longer able to bear children, which typically occurs between 49 and 52 years of age.

Sarah was 90 when she conceived. This is just GOD’S sense of humor, that nothing with Him will ever be impossible.

2. While you wait, it is to prove and clarify what you really want from what you really need. We don't give up easily on what we need.

3. While you wait, it is to reveal what you call faith.

4. While you wait, it is to see if GOD is GOD in your life for who He is or what you will always get from Him.

5. While you wait, it is to prove a point to clarify coincidence from miracle that nothing happens by chance but in GOD'S doing.

6. While you wait, it is to build a solid foundation and validated experience so that when time comes, and you cross a path with someone in with, experience, you won't be lost for words to find the right word of encouragement for them.

Sometimes, GOD will let all effort fail, every help will be to no avail, every plan and Biblical principle will be exhausted, then He will step in. This is to prove to you what only GOD can do, and that is when we determine we really have a problem.

If you have to wait, you may have to wait very good by checking what you may not be doing right. Hence, you can leave the rest to GOD by hoping for the best.

When you wait, for there's no even time to wait in the real sense, learn to cultivate and seek help, and be certain you always do what is necessary.

My prayer for you today, may the good LORD give you the grace to truly wait and the courage to be patience enough, so that if you have to wait for 3 months, then you won't wait for 2 months and 29 days then quit. AMEN
