FORGIVING YOURSELF
FORGIVING YOURSELF.
Would you believe if I told you that to forgive people sometimes comes easier than forgiving ourselves? When you realize that those you've ever trusted and loved are those who still plot your downfall or put your life in the line, you struggle to forgive yourself to have loved and trusted them that much.
Sometimes our enemies are disguise as family and friends. You must forgive yourself for having chosen to trust and love them that much.
Stop wasting your precious time in trying to make people love you, understand you, respect you, and value you because in the end, it all becomes a pointless negative fight for validation that will drain your happiness. Enjoy life by surrounding yourself with those who inspire you and truly demonstrate their love for you.
Never force yourself on anyone, let it be those who value you so that even when It gets complicated, you will know your worth & leave the trash behind.
Beads of perspiration may form on your brow, and your heart may flutter. Your mind swims in your thoughts and endless loop replays in your head over misplaced confidence and trust you have in wrong people. Hence, you can't even forgive yourself.
Remember: If GOD had made the day to be perfect, He wouldn’t have invented tomorrow. If we cry today, there's tomorrow to have a big smile. Find what you love, but don't let it kill you. Value what you have, but don't let it drain you of what you do not have. Forgive yourself so that you can continue to enjoy the rest of your tomorrows.
My prayer for you today, may the good LORD help you with the understanding that, if we have today to cry, then there's always tomorrow to leave today behind. AMEN!
